Tracker watches over 41 orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs)

Tracker Network have just joined the Africa Food for Thought family. They are supporting 41 of our OVCs allowing us to expand this programme to 53 currently. We have an additional 11 households on our shortlist. Every month we deliver a large food parcel to these children. At the same time, we check to see how the family is coping and whether there are any major problems. We would love to spend more time with them, but with so many vulnerable households in our family, we just don't have the capacity. That is why we are trying to link in with organisations such as Big Brother Big Sister South Africa and Heartlines to get mentors for our kids. We budget R350 a month to feed these households. If you do not have the time to mentor, but would like to financially support a family, please contact the office or Debbie Higgs on 084-505-9020.
