Christmas in the park

Christmas will be coming early on the West Rand as Africa Food for Thought hosts a Christmas party for our orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs). We are expecting about 100 children to join AFFT and our sponsors for a Christmas party on Saturday 28th November. The party is to be held at the Nestle Centre at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens. This venue is being sponsored by Afrox, one of our faithful partners. Wesbank is donating the use of 2 kombis and drivers to help us transport some of the children (we still need lots of help here!) as well as sponsoring two popcorn machines. Rand Merchant Bank have offered to pay for and make up 100 sweet packs. Individuals and churches have been donating money to help us buy a gift for each child, while Grace Jacobs has donated a bible story book for each child. KBC is donating all the refreshments for the day. We still need help with many things: transport, jumping castles, clowns or magicians, toys.
