Kopano

Hi, I'm Kopano. I am 15. I live with my mother in a small house. She is very, very sick. Sometimes my aunt comes to stay to look after me and my mother. Last month my mother was so sick that the people from Africa Food for Thought took her to the doctor. I was very happy about this, as my mother was too sick to walk. If AFFT had not come, my Aunt and Uncle would have had to carry her to the taxi so she could go to the doctor. I don't know how they would have coped.

People say I am cricket mad. My hero is Herschelle Gibbs. I enjoy Technology at school. My favourite meal is rice and chicken. One day I want to become an Engineer.
