Gold Reef City event - Mandela Day Celebrations

On 15th July 2011 we took a group of High School children from our OVC families to Gold Reef City for a day out for the children and also to celebrate Mandela Day. The children enjoyed the wonderful day that was totally different from their daily routine in their communities. Most of the children had never been to the theme park before. Gold Reef City kindly let us have a reduced rate for entrance fees and Barcelos donated vouchers to cover the lunch for the children. From sea shell rides to the Tower of Terror the children are sure not to forget this event in a hurry.
